How do I contact you?

We take ultimate care in ensuring your perishable goods arrive in optimal condition.  Our policies are as follows.

We ship product Monday through Wednesday and you will receive your order in 1-3 days.  We ship via UPS.  Physical addresses are necessary as we are unable to ship to PO boxes.  You will receive an email with tracking information so you know when to expect your shipment.  

The product is shipped frozen and individually vacuum-packed.  Packages will include an insulated box with either dry ice or reusable gel packs to maintain your items in good condition.  Your products may arrive completely frozen or thawed and cool to the touch.  Please see our “Environmental Stewardship” section for information regarding the 100% compostable and/or recyclable shipping products Nester Ranch Wagyu uses.

Products ordered by noon Central time Monday-Wednesday will be shipped that day.  Orders received after noon will be handled as if received the following business day and will be subject to the above conditions.  Occasionally during peak seasons or depending on inventory, the delivery may take additional time.  If so, you will be advised when to expect your package.  Customers are responsible for shipping charges.

If you desire delivery faster or on Saturday, we are happy to accommodate you.  Extra delivery charges may apply.  Please contact us at 512-694-7711 to make arrangements.

Products ordered in the Austin metro area will be hand-delivered the following day according to the above specifications.

We ship all packages with “Signature Release” which means that no signature is required for delivery.

If your package is delivered damaged, please advise us immediately so we can provide you with another shipment if necessary and file a claim with UPS.

There are 4 breeds of Wagyu: black, red, polled and shorthorn. Red Wagyu is also known as Akaushi. Of nearly all Wagyu commonly sold for consumption, 90% is black and 10% is Akaushi. Akaushi was favored over black by the Emperor of Japan because of its richness, higher degree of marbling and intense flavor.

 

We are located in Hays County, Texas, just south of Austin near the town of Driftwood. The ranch is on 525 acres of natural, open, pesticide-free pastureland with a constant source of water from the Edwards Aquifer.
